I am using Cacao as a therapeutic remedy to help reduce stress and anxiety, and manage depression, believing it to be the wellbeing remedy for our current times.

I facilitate regular Cacao Ceremonies that guide you on a shamanic journey to meet the Spirit of Cacao to see what messages she has for you, and help you tap into your own fertility and growth.

Used in a traditional shamanic ceremony, ceremonial-grade Cacao can help release blockages around the heart, heal emotional wounds, and help you find answers.

For the last ten years I have been spending my winters in the Peruvian Amazon, taking small groups to experience Ayahuasca and for my own Plant Medicine training.

From 2015-2018 I was in a Chiric Sanango dieta, a very powerful Plant Medicine that really helped deepen my understanding of the power of Plant Medicines.

In 1998 I trained with Don Juanito, a Peruvian Amazonian Plant Medicine Shaman, as his apprentice, and have been working with ‘Plant Consciousness’ ever since.

I have a BA (Hons) in Study of Religions, and an MSc in Development Studies, both from SOAS University, and a Postgraduate Psychology Diploma in the Human Givens Approach. I am also the author of ‘The Shaman’s Last Apprentice,’ and ‘Beyond Illusion’ the true stories of my apprenticeship with Don Juanito, and how I became a modern day urban shaman.

From 2006-2010, I was Founder and Director of Hemp Global Solutions Ltd, growing hemp research crops in the UK and educating on the importance of hemp for food, nutrition, fuel and shelter. I also created ‘Hempower,’ a Hemp porridge, and sold hemp seed and hemp protein powder under my food label AMARU.

With over twenty-five years’ experience working with plant medicines, and using my experiences from living both in the Peruvian Amazon and the city of London, I enable people to start ‘living shamanically’ in the urban jungle.I teach modern shamanic wisdom, and offer practical tools to help people living in the urban jungle to see the synchronicity and magic in the ordinariness, and reconnect them back to nature, and the natural cycles and rhythms of life.

I facilitate online, and in person, plant medicine ceremonies, shamanic journeys, retreats and workshops. I also has a thriving ceremonial-grade Cacao business that works directly with communities from the Peruvian and Ecuadorian Amazon, to protect their livelihoods and ancient farming practices, and ensure they receive a fair price for their cacao.
