What I Stand For
My Mission is to support a shift from separation consciousness back into unity consciousness, both within ourselves and in how we relate to the natural world. This means restoring balance not only to human awareness, but also to the land because without healthy soil and clean water, we cannot survive.
My Work is Rooted in Unity Consciousness
The root cause of all our problems is Seperation Consciousness. When we come back into Unity Consciousness we remember who we are, and how everything is interwoven, and interconnected. We then automatically change our destructive patterns and behaviours, and bring our lives back into balance..
Pattern disrupter
Our toxic behaviours are shaped by inherited beliefs and unconscious conditioning, rooted in Separation consciousness. My work helps people recognise these patterns and awaken to a new consciousness.
Conscious leadership
The Age of Guru and Spiritual Teacher is over. True leadership is enabling others to become sovereign and empowered.
Integrity and reciprocity
Working with Plant Medicines carries an important and privileged responsibility. I believe in honouring the communities, traditions and ecosystems that make this work possible.
At the heart of my work is a form of conscious leadership rooted in nature. I act as a pattern disruptor, guiding people to go beyond cultural conditioning, destructive and negative patterns of behaviour, and develop a deeper, more conscious relationship with themselves, their community, and the natural world.
My work is dedicated to helping people disrupt the patterns that shape their lives, through ceremonies, retreats, mentoring and training programmes — both online and in person, and helps them find greater conscious awareness, courage and integrity.
Rebekah Shaman sits at the intersection of Plant Medicine, Consciousness and Leadership. For more than two decades she has helped people disrupt limiting patterns, challenged inherited belief systems, and helped them reconnect with a more conscious relationship with themselves and the natural world.
Rebekah’s journey into the world of plant medicine began in 1997 while working in a hotel in Machu Picchu, Peru. She became disillusioned and disheartened, things were not going right and she didn’t fit in. One day on her daily run, she decided to follow an animal track through the forest, rather than the usual path. Climbing up through the dense folliage she lost all sense of time. She finally reached a plateau, but by now the sun was setting fast and she had no flashlight, water, and was dressed in just shorts and a T-Shirt.
Convinced she would find the path, she started edging her way around the mountain, but it got steeper and more slippery, until she knew that on her next step, she would fall. She couldn’t turn back, because darkness was fast approaching. She had to take that next step…
She began free-falling down the side of the mountain and prepared herself for death, as her life rushed in front of her. She knew she didn’t want to die, and called out for something to save her. A tree caught her near the base of the mountain. The rush of adrenalin and other release of chemicals enabled her to get down to the ground and walk back to the hotel,
That night, as she called out to the night sky for answers, a Shaman appeared in a vision. The chemical explosion in her body, including DMT, had blown open a doorway into another dimension, where she was able to see the Shaman, who had drunk Ayahuasca.
He told her that he had been waiting for her, and had the answers for her, and the reason for why she was on the planet. So she left the hotel in search of this Shaman, and found him nestled in a tiny village deep in the Amazon jungle, where she became his apprentice.
Over the following fourteen years, Rebekah stayed true and loyal to her teacher, Don Juanito, the Plant Medicines, and Mother Earth, while living back in the UK.
Her work with cacao began in 2012 following an Ayahuasca ceremony in Palenque, Mexico, where she was told by the Plant that she had to introduce ceremonial-grade cacao to Western audiences as a powerful plant ally for emotional wellbeing, and to help reduce the stress and anxiety that is so prevalent in our society.
Returning to London in 2013 with 21 pounds of cacao in her rucksuck, Rebekah began offering Plant Medicine cacao ceremonies at a time when very few people in the UK were familiar with ceremonial cacao. Through this work she created spaces where people could work directly with the Spirit of Cacao to heal emotional wounds, trauma and reconnect with their intuition, clarity and inner guidance.
These early ceremonies helped establish what has since grown into a wider cacao movement, where ceremonial-grade cacao is now commonly integrated into holistic wellbeing practices such as yoga, meditation, sound healing and movement.
Rebekah also educates on the importance of ‘Living Shamanically’ in the urban jungle by reconnecting back to Nature and the natural cycles and rhythms of nature and the moon. She facilitates regular New and Full Moon online ceremonies, Cacao Ceremonies, Retreats, Cacaoista® Trainings, and Shamanic Events.
She also runs a private practice where she does Life Path Readings, and a 3 Month Shamanic Business Mentoring package.
In 2018, Rebekah founded Ritual Cacao Ltd, a ceremonial-grade cacao company that sources directly from local farming communities in Ecuador. By working closely with growers, she maintains full oversight of the quality and integrity of the cacao used in both her products and ceremonies, while supporting traditional agricultural communities.
Rebekah is also a Hemp Phytoremediation specialist, and Managing Director of the British Hemp Alliance (BHA), the UK’s leading organisation championing industrial hemp as a powerful environmental crop. The BHA advocates for the strategic use of industrial hemp to support the UK in the decarbonisation of industries, phytoremediation and advancing regenerative land use.
Rebekah has a BA (Hons) in Study of Religions, an MSc in Development Studies, both from SOAS University, an MSc in Global Environmental Politics and Policy, from Birkbeck, and a Post-graduate Psychology Diploma in the Human Givens Approach.
She is also the author of two self-published books: ‘The Shaman’s Last Apprentice,’ and its sequel 'Beyond Illusion' the true stories of her Apprenticeship with Don Juanito, the Plant medicine Shaman from the Peruvian Amazon, and how she integrated her journey back in the West.

Join me on the Summer Solstice to celebrate the turning of the light, the peak of summer, and the longest day and shortest night.
“Both the Winter and the Summer Solstices are expressions of love. They show us the opposition of light and dark, expansion and contraction, that characterise our experiences in the Earth school so that we can recognise our options as we move through our lives.” — Gary Zukav
The Northern Hemisphere is in full abundance, and this is the perfect time to pollinate your ideas and visions as we reach the peak of summer on 21st June.
The Summer Solstice is an important festival to connect with nature and honour the faery folk. The veil between their world and ours is at its thinnest, and if you want to see them, the lore says you need to rub fern seed onto your eyelids at midnight.
Traditionally, birch, fennel, St. John’s Wort, orpin, and white lilies were placed over front doors and around homes. Rue, roses, vervain, and trefoil were also revered for their magical properties at midsummer.
This is a time to honour the light, celebrate what we have learnt over the past six months, and recognise how we have blossomed and grown, like the nature around us. It represents change — the ending of a cycle and the beginning of a new one.
It is an opportunity to thank Mother Earth for the experience of Life.
For what has been – I thank you.
For what is – I am grateful.
For what will be – YES!!!!
The life-force energy is especially potent at this time, and everything around you is an opportunity to support your intentions and dreams.
As we reach the midway point of the year, set your intentions for the next six months, trust that life will provide what you need, throw your hands in the air, and enjoy the ride wherever it takes you.

Join me on this Capricorn Full Moon Night to celebrate our achievements, recognise how far we have come, and acknowledge our perseverence, resilience and patience.
This Capricorn Full Moon brings our focus back to the balance between our work, responsibilities and public life, and our emotional needs, home life and personal wellbeing.
It may illuminate where you have become out of balance, especially if you have been giving too much time, energy or attention to your work, your duties, or what others expect from you.
To understand this Full Moon, we need to look at the Cancer–Capricorn polarity. Cancer represents the home, family, roots, emotional safety, nurturing and unconditional love. Capricorn represents work, career, responsibility, achievement, structure, reputation and accountability.
Cancer asks us to listen to our feelings, tend to our inner world, and remember what truly nourishes us. Capricorn asks us to grow up, take responsibility, honour our commitments, and keep moving towards our long-term goals.
Both are important. If we neglect our emotional needs, our body, home or family life, we can become hard, overworked and disconnected. But if we neglect our responsibilities, direction and purpose, we can feel lost, unsupported or unable to move forward.
This Full Moon invites us to find a healthier balance between the two.
It may bring up feelings around how much we have given to our work, how much we have sacrificed, and whether the path we are on is still aligned with who we are becoming. Something may have been building inside us for some time, and under this Full Moon, it may finally need to be expressed.
With the Moon full and bright in the sky, something is illuminated in our own lives. Feelings, truths or revelations may rise to the surface, especially around the conflict between our roots and our direction, our private needs and our public responsibilities.
This is a powerful time to let things out of your system, but also to do so with care, and try not to make sudden decisions from a place of overwhelm.
This Full Moon also forms squares to Saturn and Neptune, which can bring tension between rigidity and confusion, duty and uncertainty, reality and illusion. You may feel pulled between wanting firm answers and not being able to see the full picture yet.
So rather than forcing clarity, this is a time to pause, reflect and open yourself to new possibilities, while allowing the truth to reveal itself in its own time.
Join me in ceremony on this Capricorn Full Moon to ground your energy, honour how far you have come, release what you have been carrying, and reconnect with the strength, wisdom and patience needed for the path ahead.

Join me to commune with the Cancer New Moon.
Tune out the negative critic and tune into your intuition, hear your inner wisdom, and get the guidance and focus you need to take the next steps. We will also tune into our projects and creative endeavours, check that everything is in alignment and on track, and set our intention for this new lunar cycle.
The Cancer New Moon is bringing our attention back to the home, and what it means to feel safe and secure.
As the world seems more unstable and dangerous this Moon is focusing on what we can do to feel safer and more connected, what can we do to make the world a more peaceful and harmonious place.
It’s also reminding us to honour the family and loved ones we have around us and not take them for granted, and make peace with a family member or loved ones.
Rather than start a new project during this Cancer New Moon, make a commitment to your family and loved ones - especially if you have been neglecting your responsibilities and duties.
We are also right in our second Mercury retrograde from June 29th - 23rd July so projects may have slowed down significantly. It may feel like you are going sideways, rather than forwards during this time, but don’t fight the flow.
When we Surrender, Trust, Allow and Receive, we can allow the flow of life to take us effortlessly to our destination, even if it may look like things are not going in the right direction.
You may find this Moon brings to the surface hidden disappointments, frustrations, and sadness within a relationship that have been buried deep within.
Try and be an observer of your emotions and moods, rather than get pulled deep into Cancer’s watery depths and become the martyr or victim. Forgiveness and self-reliance are important qualities needed to surf this coming energetic wave.
We are all going through emotional turmoil, and when we stop blaming others for our own discomfort, we avoid potentially destructive conflicts and arguments.
Instead, recognise where your needs are not being met, and what you need in order to nourish and support yourself.
If things are challenging reach out to loved ones for support and help. This is a time when we are all feeling the need to be closer to each other, and feeling the need to support each other.
This is also a powerful New Moon to refocus your dreams, and honour the intentions that you have set, despite what is happening in the physical world.
It shows us how strong our roots are, what we have achieved in our lives so far, and gives us the strength to continue on our paths.
This in depth Ritual Cacao Cacaoista® Practitioner Training is for those who want to work with Cacao as a Master Plant Medicine.
