Rebekah Shaman is an eco-conscious pioneer that has worked with Plant Medicines for over 28 years. 

Rebekah found the Plant Medicine path when she fell down the side of a mountain while working in a hotel in Machu Picchu, Peru in 1997. This near-death experience changed Rebekah’s life and put her on a life-long path of aligning herself with the natural rhythms and flows of nature.

Rebekah spent 14 years studying and working with shamanic teachers in the Peruvian Amazon, before starting her journey with cacao.

Following a ceremony in Palenque, Mexico, in 2012, Rebekah was guided to bring ceremonial-grade cacao to the West and introduce it as a powerful Plant medicine for mental health and wellbeing.

On returning to London, in 2013, Rebekah began offering cacao ceremonies at a time when very few people knew about cacao. Rebekah guides participants through a shamanic process to connect directly with the spirit of cacao, creating a space for deep healing, clarity and guidance. 

These early ceremonies helped establish what has since grown into a wider cacao movement, now commonly integrated into holistic wellness practices, such as sound healing, yoga, movement, and meditation.

In 2018, Rebekah founded Ritual Cacao Ltd, a ceremonial-grade cacao company that sources directly from indigenous communities in Ecuador. This gives Rebekah full control over the quality of cacao she uses in her ceremonies, and maintains her integrity and values.

Her work remains focused on cacao, as a Master Plant Medicine, through the quality of the cacao she sells, and her role as a Plant Medicine Shaman. 

Through ceremonies, retreats, mentoring, and training, both online and in person, Rebekah guides others to reconnect and develop conscious relationships with nature and bring balance and harmony  to their lives.
